The NO2-Sensor connects via Bluetooth with your smart phone to match the actual location data to its sensed NO2 data to send it over into the cloud. The system archives any collected sensor and location data to create a stunning visualization in realtime of potential NO2 pollution in your area.

The Mobile NO2 sensor was based on an idea by Manfred Kraft for Scholz & Volkmer Wiesbaden/Berlin.

In spring 2019 VRaktion started to redesign the hardware with the intention to create a sensing wearable.

In Summer 2019 VRaktion build a entirely new mobile app for iOS and Android.

In late 2019 VRaktion took over the complete development of the NO2 sensor. The project got renamed into Noxens.
